Why Pray?

The Word of God concerning His promises as we journey into a Life of Prayer.
God listens when we pray. “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their cry.” Psalm 34:15
Prayer will facilitate a closer relationship with the Savior. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
As you pray, you will be in tune with the voice of God, having the ability to receive direction. “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27

A Consistent prayer life will lead you into divine purpose for your life. "This is what the Lord says - your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: 'I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17
Prayer produces healing. " Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." James 5:16a
Prayer produces (fruit) results. "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." James 5:16b
Pray because God loves you and you desire to experience His love firsthand. "The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." Jeremiah 31:3
"Come apart by yourselves into a desert place, and rest awhile." Mark 6:31
Seek God in prayer and you will find Him!
